THE BOOKS
The Pony Detectives was my first series for children. As a child I lived near London and dreamed of owning a horse one day. I constantly read all the pony books I could get my hands on. I pretended the bikes in our shed were my stable of ponies. Reading horsey adventures was the nearest I could get to experience the thrill of riding and they fuelled my enthusiasm. My imagiation spilled over into writing my own stories which I kept in notebooks in a box under my bed. Many years later I decided to hone them into a pony-mad series I was lucky enough to have published as THE PONY DETECTIVES. I have since written some kid-lit novels called the BFF series under the pen name of Holly Robbins.
